While we finish installing some new fibre optic broadband and are getting things back up and running under National Trust care, we're asking everyone to pre-book their visits to Blists Hill.

Group bookings and coaches

We are unable to accommodate group bookings and coaches currently. We aim to reinstate group visits from late summer and will update details of how to make a group booking on the website as soon as we know more.

We are asking everyone to book, including National Trust members and those with valid IGMT Pass and Pass Plus holders and reciprocal passes.  Once booked, members will be able to access all of the Ironbridge Gorge museums for free, as part of their membership.

Pre-Booking for visits to Blists Hill

As part of the transfer of the Ironbridge Gorge sites to the National trust we are investing in new fibre optic broadband for our tills and other systems. This work will not be complete for a few more weeks and so we are asking people to pre-book visits in the short term to provide a better experience for all visitors.

How to book tickets

  • Tickets are available for the upcoming two weeks
  • New tickets are released every Thursday
  • Book online or call 0344 249 1895
  • You can book on the day up to an hour before your visit time

When you arrive

Parking is free to all visitors. If arriving by car please park in the car park and make your way to visitor reception. Once parked, follow signs to the entrance at the Welcome Centre which you'll then enter on foot and the team will welcome you.

Have your ticket ready to show to staff - either on your phone or a printed copy. If you’re a member or IGMT Pass or Pass Plus Holder, you’ll also need to show your valid card. Blue Badge holders will find parking in carpark one, closest to the Welcome Centre. There are cycle racks in carpark one.
