Embroidery Workshop with textile artist Lily Purslow - Fabric Landscapes

Join textile artist Lily Purslow at Moseley Old Hall for a unique embroidery workshop. Perfect for all skill levels - create, stitch, and take home your masterpiece!

Discover the beauty of hand embroidery in this inspiring workshop at Moseley Old Hall led by textile artist Lily Purslow.

Create your own fabric landscape using reclaimed fabrics and haberdashery, exploring layering and stitching techniques without a set pattern.

With expert guidance, quality materials, and a relaxed atmosphere, you’ll design a unique textile piece to take home.

Refreshments included; bring your own scissors and an optional sketchbook.

£45 per person, includes admission to the site, drinks refreshments and all materials. There will be time after the workshop where you can explore the site and make use of the tearoom facilities if you wish.

This workshop will also run at Wightwick Manor and Gardens on Sunday 26 July.

Suitable for over 18's.

Meeting point

Enter via Visitor Reception and then the session will take place in the Stables next door to reception.

What to bring and wear

Weather appropriate footwear and clothing advised for exploring the grounds. Layers are recommended on cooler days.

Accessibility

The Stables can be accessed via a step-free entry way but please let Lily know of any access requirements. The room can be dim on a dull day. Toilets and the Tearoom are located in another building across the main drive.
