Go behind the scenes and into the past with one of the knowledgeable volunteer guides.

Explore the Victorian Kitchens on a tour with one of our volunteer guides. You will be taken off the normal visitor route, delving into the history of these hidden rooms. You will walk through kitchens and larders as you follow in the footsteps of the Victorian servants here at Dunster Castle.

Mondays - 1.30pm and 2.30pm Thursdays - 11am, 12pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm Fridays - 11am, 12pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm Saturdays - 11am and 12pm Sundays - 1.30pm and 2.30pm

Tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Office on arrival or by cash at the castle entrance. There are limited slots for each tour.

What to bring and wear

Please wear sensible shoes as some of the rooms have uneven flooring.

Accessibility

There is uneven flooring and steps so the tour is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
