Festival of Blossom
Celebrate blossom with us this spring. Discover subtle touches of blossom across Dunster Castle- wander through the gardens as they begin to bloom and enjoy the gentle arrival of spring throughout the castle.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Every spring, blossom marks the arrival of brighter days and we’re celebrating its beauty throughout Dunster Castle once again.
This year, you’ll find delicate nods to blossom across the castle and grounds, from blossom decorations at our welcome points to a wonderful blossom‑themed display in the Stables Shop.
Outside, the gardens begin to wake for spring, offering moments of colour and early bloom. Indoors, the festival continues at a gentle pace with the return of our bees and blossoms spotter trail, perfect for little explorers!
A highlight of this year’s celebration arrives towards the end of April- a willow tree sculpture created by artist Woody Fox. This beautifully crafted piece will be installed in the Inner Hall, becoming a new focal point for the festival. The tree will be decorated with hand‑made blossom ornaments created by local community groups, making it not only an artwork, but a celebration of creativity and connection.
Join us as we welcome the season and celebrate nature’s quiet transformation- both indoors and out.
