Discover hidden spaces, explore tucked‑away rooms and corridors, and learn about the daily lives of the servants who once called these upstairs spaces home. Please note that these tours are subject to volunteer availability.

The basics
- Suitability
The tours are not recommended for children under 12.
- Meeting point
The tour will begin outside the front of the house. Members need to scan their membership cards on arrival, non-members will need to purchase an admission ticket.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear suitable shoes for walking on uneven ground. The attics can be quite cold with uneven steps.
- Accessibility
There are 87 steps up a spiral staircase which are worn in places. Please take time to consider this before booking.
- Other
Normal admission applies. Members need to scan their membership cards on arrival, non-members will need to purchase an admission ticket.
