Waterscapes Exhibition
Connect with nature through this immersive digital exhibit.
- Booking not needed
- Free event
An immersive digital exhibition, Waterscapes will transform the historic stables of the National Trust's Dunster Castle this summer.
The exhibition will display a new digital artwork, Ripple Effect, created by artist Elizabeth Woodger. By combining science, moving image and sound, this experimental piece will reveal the incredible transformations taking place in the River Aller waterscape on the Holnicote Estate and how the effects ripple throughout the landscape.
Visitors will step into a digital waterscape with photographic projections and the sounds of flowing water. The exhibition is inspired by research and visits to the Holnicote Estate and reflects on landscape restoration.
There will be virtual reality experiences and you have the chance to chat with staff who have been working on this project and find out more about the story of water at Dunster.
For more information about the project please see the webpage: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/somerset/bossington/riverlands-project-at-porlock-vale
