  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

Connect with nature through this immersive digital exhibit.

Explore the beaver enclosure at Holnicote estate digitally, immerse yourself in nature without really having to with a virtual reality tour, learn more about how water moves through the landscape with the augmented reality sandbox and enjoy the work of local artist, Elizabeth Woodger, created specially for this project. Find out more about the importance of protecting freshwater habitats and improving the condition of our rivers.

This exhibition expands on the National Trust North Devon Riverlands Project which is restoring wetland habitats across North Devon. Collaborating with four ranger teams - Arlington Court, West Exmoor, Hartland, and Woolacombe - they are focusing on nature-based solutions to enhance water quality, reduce flood risk, combat soil erosion and improve drought resilience, while promoting biodiversity.
