Finds Friday Object Handling

Get up close and personal with real archaeological finds and replicas of the Sutton Hoo treasures, including pieces you can handle!

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Take a closer look at (and touch!) real archaeological finds and replicas of some of the famous Sutton Hoo objects in our family-focused Finds Friday handling sessions. If the weather is nice, sessions will take place outside near the main courtyard, otherwise they will be in the Discovery Room in Tranmer House. The Visitor Welcome team will be able to advise where the session is taking place on the day of your visit.
