Bateman's is the home of writer Rudyard Kipling. As a writer's haven, we celebrate all things literary. During your visit, we invite you to explore our selection of second-hand books for sale – there’s something for everyone!
The Scullery Bookshop will be open as usual, offering a delightful range of modern and vintage fiction, children’s books, and works by Kipling. Plus, outside you’ll find even more fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books to browse. Every purchase you make helps to look after the house, collection, garden, and estate at Bateman's – for everyone, for ever.
