Christmas Calligraphy Workshop at Bateman's
Be inspired by a calligraphy workshop at Bateman's this Christmas.

Get creative and relax in this workshop led by artist Alina from Creative Feel Designs. You'll be taught how to use calligraphy and watercolours to create your own Christmas cards in the cosy surroundings of Bateman's House kitchen. In the first half of the session, you will get familiar with the materials and learn the basic strokes of calligraphy by practising uppercase and lowercase alphabets. Afterwards, you will learn how to add watercolour painting and create Christmas designs to take home on the day.
Perfect for complete calligraphy beginners as well as those who have tried their hand at calligraphy before and need a reminder of how much fun it can be.
Calligraphy beginner kits will be available to purchase on the day from Alina in addition to the workshop for £35. Payments for the kits can be made by cash and card.
Friday 20 and Saturday 21 November | Two workshops per day, 11am & 2pm.
Two-hour sessions, £40 per person, ten people per session.

We will be on our winter opening hours and close at 4pm. We recommend arriving early if you are booked on the 2pm-4pm workshop if you want to look around Bateman's. Entry to Bateman's is included in the workshop ticket price.
