Paws at the Falls - summer Saturday picnics at Aberdulais Falls
On Saturday 29 August bring your four-legged friends and join us as we round off our Summer Saturdays with Paws at the Falls!
- Booking not needed
- Free event
To celebrate our final Saturday opening of the summer holidays we're inviting the whole family, included your four-legged members!
Visitors are welcome to bring your dogs with your picnic so they can enjoy this lovely place as well. We'll also have Greyhound Rescue Wales onsite with a table full of information. And if the weather is good they may bring some rescue greyhounds to meet everyone.
We'll have some fun dog-themed items which your dogs can pose with so you can get a perfect family photo to celebrate the summer holidays.
We'll have dog water bowls but you're also welcome to bring your own. Please be diligent and clean up after your dogs, there will be lots of children running around.
Aberdulais will be open from 9.30am-3.30pm and you’re welcome to come and set up a picnic anytime during these opening hours. There will always be crafts and toys available to play with during your visit. All visitors must take all their picnic litter home with them.
We’re running these events with fellow charity St Giles Cymru who occupy one of the buildings on site.

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. We do have grass, shaded areas, and indoor spaces that are dog-friendly, but if the weather is very hot dog owners are responsible for deciding if they should bring their dogs and monitoring their paws on the gravel in case the ground is hot.
