Talking and Dog Walking with Clare Balding at Chirk Castle
Join us as we welcome Broadcasting legend Clare Balding to Chirk Castle for a dog walk and to talk about her debut novel Pastures New.

Bring your dog for a morning walk and chat with the brilliant Clare Balding at Chirk Castle. Meet at The Dairy at Home Farm, near to the Ticket Office for coffee, cakes, dog treats and a mingle before joining Clare on a short walk into the garden and grounds led by Chirk Castle staff. All dogs must be kept on short leads and keep paws on paths. Please arrive for 10am for coffee/tea and cake before Clare's arrival at 10.30am. There will be copies of Pastures New available to buy on the day.

Meet at the Dairy at Home Farm near to the Ticket Office to collect your tea/coffee and cake before we begin.
- What to bring and wear
This event takes place outdoors please dress according to the weather.
- Accessibility
The walk will follow an accessible route. The area around the Ticket Office is cobbled. The shuttlebus helps visitors up the steep hill to the castle and runs throughout the day. This is a volunteer-run service and may not be available every day, please check before visiting.
