Celebrate St David’s Day with a fun-filled family adventure at Powis Castle.

Capture a special memory at the St David’s Day selfie spot, enjoy bilingual storytelling sessions in Welsh and English (Sunday only), and get hands-on with creative Welsh-themed crafts.
In the castle follow the daffodil ‘spot-it’ trail, curl up in the children’s Welsh book reading corner, and soak up the atmosphere as traditional Welsh music echoes through the rooms. Before you leave, don’t miss the Welsh food tasting in the shop.
Normal admission prices apply for Saturday 28 February, admission is free Sunday 1 March.
All activities run 11am-4pm (last entry 3.30pm) both days, other than the storytelling sessions which run on Sunday 1 March at 12noon, 1pm and 2pm (30 minutes each), and Welsh-themed crafts which run 1.30pm-3.30pm on 28 February and 11am-3pm on 1 March.

We’re committed to welcoming everyone to enjoy Powis Castle and Garden, however please be aware there are 13 steps into the castle itself, with no ramp and no alternative access, and the second floor is only accessible via stairs. A step-free route of the garden is available from the Ticket Office. Please see our accessibility guide under 'visitor information' for further details.
