Stackpole Estate’s much-loved Community Lantern Procession is back on Saturday 31 January!

Please also book your place on the procession by clicking the separate event listing called: Community Lantern Procession.

Before the procession, come along to the Stackpole Centre and make your very own lantern in a free, friendly workshop with Sand Palace Arts.

You’ll be guided step-by-step to create a beautiful lantern using willow, tissue paper, and glue to carry on the night.

Useful things to know: Free workshop. Don't forget to book your place on the procession too. Ages 8+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

If you’re attending the workshop with younger children, you’re welcome to make one lantern together in pairs—please book one place per pair.

Arrive on time so you have plenty of time to finish your lantern.

To keep things easy, your lantern will be stored safely at the Stackpole Centre until the procession on Saturday 31 January, and you can take it home afterwards.
