with friends and family. The activities include bug hunts, outdoor games, orienteering, crafts, storytelling, and much more. There will also be a lantern sculpture trail in the woods (using the beautiful lanterns from our lantern parade in February) and a photo competition display.
Entry is completely free, bring a picnic and picnic chairs/blanket. We also encourage you to either bring your own full picnic or at least some nibbles to enjoy. Clare’s Cakes will also be there, selling pasties, quiches, salad boxes, sausage roles, brownies and non-alcoholic drinks and the Walled Garden Café will also be open. There’ll be a second-hand book stall, the Pembrokeshire National Trust Association will also have a stall where they’ll be talking about their valuable work, Darwin Science will be there with microscopes which you can use to look at the bugs you’ve found on the bug hunt. The newly formed Stackpole Ecological Recording Network will also be there to teach us all about the mammals who make Stackpole their home (such as bats and otters) and help everyone make bat masks.
