Afternoon with an Avebury Archaeologist
As part of the Festival of Archaeology, visitors of all ages can find out more about Avebury's ancient origins by walking back along the timeline with an expert archaeologist.

Do you have any questions about the amazing archaeology of Avebury? Would you like to find out more about the stone circles and wider landscape in the Neolithic period? Visit the farmyard at Avebury to talk with the resident archaeologist and walk back in time from the present day to over 10,000 years ago. You will also be able to find out about finds from archaeological digs at Avebury over the last few years. 30 minute sessions at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. No need to book, arrive at the barn 5 minutes before each session.
