Get comfy, listen carefully and be ready for a Christmas story with one of the most important characters of the season. It's a busy time of year for Christmas VIPs, can you hear the sleigh bells ringing? Storytime with Mother Christmas includes a gift and lasts approximately 25 minutes.
Each child event ticket also includes entry to the abbey grounds, cloister and decorated Great Hall. Normal admission applies for non-member adults.

- Meeting point
Meet in Lacock visitor reception to start your visit. It's a short walk to the grotto from the abbey gates so please allow at least 15 minutes to get to there.
- What to bring and wear
Dress in your festive best, but wrap up warm. The grotto is cosy but there is a short walk through the grounds to get there.
- Accessibility
The Christmas grotto is on the ground floor accessed via the abbey cloister, with some steps. If you require step free access please let us know and we will accommodate you.
- Other
The experience will last approximately 25 minutes, each audience has a maximum of 12 places so booking is essential. This event is aimed at children of Primary School age. presents will be available for 0-2, 3-5 & 6+ Each child ticket also includes free entry to the abbey grounds, cloister and decorated Great Hall. Each accompanying adult will need to pay the normal admission fee, National Trust members go free. Accompanying adults do not require event tickets in addition to grounds entry purchased on the day
