In partnership with Ikon, Croome welcomes Birmingham-based artist Angelina May Davis for an open studio event on Saturday 14 November. As part of her winter residency, Davis is developing new work inspired by Croome's historic landscape, designed by 'Capability' Brown. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artist, view works in progress, and gain insight into her creative process as she explores themes of landscape, memory and ideas of English identity through painting.
Please note that excepting open studio visits, the Court is open by guided tour only on this day, and free flow visits to other areas of the house will not be possible.
This artist residency is supported by the Foundation Foundation through its Emerging Artists’ Exhibition Fund.
