A rift has opened in the world, and the Stranger Folk are trying to break through... Have you got what it takes to stop them? Download the Stranger Folk app if you are brave enough to try. The adventure starts with a voice note from a mysterious Old Crone who will guide you on your adventure.
Wander through the garden in search of enchanted trail points and tree spirits, where the folklore of ancient trees comes to life. Inspired by British Folklore, you'll meet hobgoblins and bogarts, try worm charming and wassailing, and test your courage with riddles and challenges!
The Stranger Folk App is free to download from the Apple Store and Google Play Store. We advise downloading the app prior to your visit. Once the app is downloaded, you don't need wifi or mobile signal to play.
This trail is free to take part in (normal admission applies) and can take any time between 20 minutes or a whole day to complete depending on your pace!

This app includes a transcript, we recommend this app for children aged 7-12, please be aware that it does contain a scary section in the middle. Our friendly team at Visitor Reception will be able to direct you to the nearby start point and help with downloading the app if required. The trail follows an accessible hard standing path, suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs
