Live Wild: Natural pigment workshop

Join guest facilitator Hannah-May for a workshop that introduces the foundational elements of earth pigments: foraging, harvesting, processing, & making.

  • Booking essential

Step into a world where the earth whispers its colours and ancient practices meet modern creativity. This immersive workshop invites you to explore the timeless art of earth pigments – beginning with the sacred act of foraging, the mindful harvesting, and the transformative process of creating your own vibrant palette from nature’s bounty.

Through every step, you’ll unlock the secrets of processing raw earth into rich, soulful hues, awakening a deeper connection to the land beneath your feet.

In this space, we move away from petroleum-based paints, returning instead to a sustainable, eco-conscious path. Here, the practice of making is more than just a craft; it is a reclamation of a creative tradition that has been passed down through generations, one that honours the earth’s natural beauty and nurtures our connection to it.

This workshop is a celebration of colour, not only in the pigments but in the way we create, encouraging us to embrace practices that are as old as time itself – deeply rooted in the land, yet timeless in their relevance.
