Volunteering day: Beech thinning
Join the Rangers to help them with their conservation work in the woodland.
- Booking essential
- Free event
We will be removing small beech saplings from the woodland. This helps to prevent shading of other native species and helps to boost biodiversity.
Meeting at the upper car park at Midgehole, we will walk for 30 minutes to the site.
Please wear suitable clothing, bring a packed lunch and work gloves if you have them.
Not suitable for young children, older children are welcome at this event with an adult. Please be aware there will be no toilet facilities available in the woodland, but we will go indoors at lunch.
