Halloween at Gibson Mill

Get ready for a month of spooky family fun as Halloween in the Mill takes over the lower and middle floors of Gibson Mill.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Step inside & discover a Halloween wonderland filled with colourful bunting, spooky decorations, spider webs, pumpkins and seasonal surprises. Throughout the event, visitors can help add to the displays by taking part in a range of creative activities, with completed crafts becoming part of the growing Halloween décor.

Don't miss the impressive pumpkin display on the middle floor, complete with rustic autumn props including scarecrows, wheelbarrows and wellies, making it the perfect spot for memorable family photos. During the final weekend of the event, families will also have the chance to decorate a pumpkin and take it home.

There will be plenty of Halloween-themed games to enjoy across both floors, including:

Witches' Hat Hoop Toss Eyeball Spoon Relay Mini Pumpkin Tic-Tac-Toe

Look out for fun photo opportunities featuring freestanding wooden characters, including Frankenstein, witches and ghosts in a variety of sizes for both younger and taller visitors.

Each day, visitors can also enjoy two self-led arts and crafts activities or colouring in sheets, with new projects introduced every week:
