Pooch play for International dog day
Celebrate International dog day with a just for fun play session on our new agility equipment. A paw-fect way to round off our Summer of Play!

Think you've got what it takes to get a paw-some score along our course? Come and have a go!
Our volunteers will be on hand throughout the session for some light-hearted scoring and to give dog friendly tips on bringing your pooch pals to Wentworth Castle Gardens. They may even have a few treats for good doggos!
After chatting to the team why not head out into the parkland or gardens for a good leg stretch. The visitor welcome team have maps available if you've not visited us before.
Dogs are also welcome in the café and we have a dog friendly seating space at the back of the play area. Please note only assistance dogs are allowed in the conservatory and all dogs must be kept on a short fixed length lead at all times.

- Accessibility
The play field is a sloped grass field accessed via a bark chip path. There is a second entrance to the field via a grass track leading down from the Fernery at the back of Stainborough Castle.
- Meeting point
On the play field just beyond the stretch tent, use your Summer of Play map to locate Active Play.
- What to bring and wear
Your pooch pal on a fixed length lead, if you need to borrow a lead please ask at reception.
