Build a Beast: Wind Creatures with Amazelab
As part of our Summer of Play we are welcoming Amazelab to deliver an inspiring workshop based on the dragon who lives at Wentworth Castle Gardens! Create your very own wind activated creature and bring them to life in this fun and creative workshop.

We're excited to be hosting Amazelab, a local STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, maths) company, for a fun filled creative workshop inspired by Wentworth Castle Gardens this summer.
This free, creative session, uses storytelling, science and engineering to spark imaginations. Test your flying creation and explore the forces of lift, gravity and wind as you bring your creatures to life!
Drop in any time between 11am-4pm at our play field stretch tent and join Amazelab for this playful family activity. This workshop is aimed at those aged 5+ but there will be ways to play for all ages if bringing the whole family along.

The play field is a sloped grass field accessed via a bark chip path. There is a second entrance to the field via a grass track leading down from the Fernery at the back of Stainborough Castle. For more information please visit the Accessibility page of our website.
