Woolly Jumper Walk

Pull on your wellies, wrap up warmly and head out to enjoy woodland views, admire historic monuments and catch a glimpse of the parkland wildlife.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

The parkland changes with the seasons and in winter has a beauty all of its own.

Pull on your wellies, wrap up warmly and head out to enjoy woodland views, admire historic monuments and catch a glimpse of the parkland wildlife. For younger visitors there will be some mini woolly jumpers to count along the south avenue even if you decide not to complete the full route.

Help us to reduce paper usage and save some trees by downloading the map before you arrive. We will have some printed copies to borrow from Visitor Reception if you prefer.

The walk is approximately 2.5 miles (4 km). We recommend allowing at least 1 and a half hours to enjoy the route.
