Blossom Watch walks: Late Rhododendrons & tales of plant hunters

Enjoy the last flourish of rhododendron colour and uncover the fascinating stories of the plant hunters who brought these blooms to Wentworth.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

As spring fades into summer, join our National Collection volunteers Libby and Chris for the final walk in our Bloom Watch series, a relaxed stroll through history and horticulture to round off the season in style.

The gardens are still awash with shades of purple and pink as the last rhododendrons bloom across the landscape. Along the way, hear how adventurous plant hunters of the past introduced many of these species to British gardens, shaping the vibrant displays we enjoy today.

While you're here look out for our showstoppers signage throughout the gardens to learn more about the National Collection during your visit.
