The Old Manor Shop at Wightwick
Facing away from the new Manor building the grand old porch of the original Manor looks onto Wightwick bank, the old cart track to Tettenhall from the canal. Inside is our shop and where part of the old building used to be is our plant centre.
Come and explore the three separate rooms on the ground floor of the Old Manor, where you will find our ever popular National Trust product ranges as well as a unique room dedicated to Arts & Crafts products that reflect the individual character of our property.
Our shop is open and offers something for everyone. Whether it’s environmentally-friendly swaps for a more sustainable life, a gift for a loved one or an indulgence for yourself, every purchase helps us look after Wightwick, for everyone, for ever.
Home and Fashion Shop
Discover the many gorgeous, but also conscientiously and meticulously sourced, products that the National Trust is renowned for. The Fashion Accessories and Homewares- many inspired by the grounds and properties to be found in the National Trust – will spoil you for choice and quality.
Arts and Crafts Shop
In our William Morris Room you will find considered crafted items for your home that capture the ethos of this unique National Trust property.
A special acquisition of one of our “cat” cushions (reminiscent of the legendary pets of Lady Mander) or of a luxurious purchase of a Morris design inspired by nature will not only bring back memories of a lovely day away but will add something of beauty to cherish in your home.
Garden Shop and Plant Centre
Our Garden Range will delight you with its inventiveness and charm. The imaginative designs of the accessories will complement your own plots of calm and natural beauty. As we wait for Spring to approach you will find hardy winter plants in stock to complete your current planting schemes. For those seeking inspiration (and the Armchair Gardener) the Shop has a rich choice of books peruse and enjoy in the comfort of your home.
Our plant centre, which is located just outside the shop, is laid out to emulate the character of the Thomas Mawson who designed the gardens at Wightwick. We pride ourselves on our seasonal plant selection the majority of which are sourced locally. We also try to reflect the plants growing in the grounds as much as possible.
Our plant sales are complemented by useful and attractive Garden items and ornaments. The range includes such delights as the ceramic bird feeders and a magnificent Bug Hotel.
Keeping you safe
We recommend wearing face coverings in crowded and enclosed spaces.
