Be a wildlife spotter

Pick up one of our spotter guides from the welcome hut and see if you can discover some fascinating fungi growing in our woodland. The resident red squirrels will be busy scampering around the ground collecting for the winter, or bring your binoculars and see if you can spot any buzzards flying overhead. We’d love to see your findings on Facebook @NationalTrustAllanBank.

Perfect for play

Hide and Seek Our woods are the best for hide and seek because there are so many nooks and crannies to hide in, we like to use the sundial on the front lawn as a base to start from.

Natural playground Who needs a slide or climbing frame when you’ve got nature? Head to our natural play area to balance on a fallen log or build a den.
