You can take a guided walk around the henge and stone circles. These run each afternoon from the Old Farmyard at a cost of £3 per adult (children free). Our expert guide will explain all about the way the henge and circles were built, how life was for people in the Neolithic and you'll hear the gory story of the Barber Surgeon Stone. The walk takes around 45 minutes.
This autumn we are paying homage to the humble apple, We'll be pressing apples, there will be information on how to grow and care for apple trees, and our gardeners will be on hand to answer all questions. Why not head to the Orchard in Avebury Manor Garden and have a go at pressing apples for yourself? Free with entry to the manor.
