You can enjoy a guided walk around the stone circle, look out for one of our specialist walks by our archaeologist and rangers, or download a self guided walk to explore by yourself.

Enjoy a Stone Circles Walk

Enjoy a guided walk around the ancient henge and stone circle, learn about the prehistoric monument and the people who built this enigmatic place.  Available most days.  Cost: £3 each.

Specialist Walks

Throughout the year we run specialist walks around the Avebury landscape and also at some of our other Wiltshire Landscape sites.  We run regular walks with our archaeologist Dr. Nick Snashall as well as wildlife walks with our Wiltshire Rangers.  Click here for information about our walking events.
