'Rewards and Fairies' fun

'Rewards and Fairies' and 'Puck of Pook's Hill' were two of Kipling's most magical books. During our World Book Day weekend bring the family to Bateman's to discover Puck's fairy ring of wooden toadstools, hidden fairy homes and a wise old tree spirit.

Don't forget your camera, as we'll have some magical dressing up outfits for the children to try on so you can capture your own little spirit in the home of Puck's creator.

Garden tales

Out in the garden you may chance across Mr Kipling himself (actor Geoff Hutchings). He is quite the raconteur and will tempt you to stay a while and listen to his magical tales.
