Jazz, Gin and Jam!
On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June, you're invited to come and enjoy this re-imagining of a Belton garden party, inspired by those held at Belton by Lord and Lady Brownlow in the 1930s.
Come and join the party, there's plenty of jazz, gin, and jam for everyone!
Live music will be performed by the fabulous Tessa Smith and her band throughout the day. Enjoy the tunes with a cream tea and a cocktail. There's also a bar to wet your whistle at, and delicious sweet and savoury crepes too.
Come prepared to have a go on the traditional games, including croquet, golf, badminton and a tug of war.
The Big Adventures Theatre Company will be back at Belton with performances at intervals all weekend. Listen in on some 'private' conversations with Lord Brownlow, Edward VIII, Wallis Simpson, and more characters you may well have seen enjoying a similar Belton party eighty years ago.
The young and young at heart are warmly invited to come dressed up in 1930s style. Whether you have a full costume or just a nod to the theme with a bow tie, this is the weekend to wear them!
All of this is in addition to the indoor and outdoor adventure playgrounds, shops, restaurant, café, gardens and parkland being open to explore as well.
Entry is free to National Trust members, and admission applies to non-members as usual.
