Volunteer at Belton House

Volunteer helping child build a den in woodland

In just over 120 years, the National Trust has grown from a small and passionate group of campaigners, to Europe’s largest conservation charity, supported by over 4 million members.

Our founding principle is that everyone has the right to enjoy beautiful places, and that’s why we look after some of Britain’s best natural and built heritage - for ever, for everyone.

At Belton House, a team of over 400 volunteers help us carry out conservation work, welcome visitors, and open our doors 364 days of the year. But we need more.

We have a diverse range of volunteering opportunities available to suit a wide range of interests. We’ll value the skills you can bring us but we can also teach you some new ones. The most important thing to bring to any role at Belton is your enthusiasm and a smile.

Volunteering is a flexible agreement and hours can be worked whenever suits your schedule, but we’re particularly in need of volunteers to work weekends and school holidays.

So, if you’re hoping to gain experience, meet new people, increase confidence or play your part in caring for this special place,  why not look at the roles available here? (Please enter 'Belton House' in the search bar).
