Come out to play at Beningbrough with a new nature trail, 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾ and some great activities to get involved with.
Brilliant butterflies
Open daily, 10am - 5pm
Pick up one of the new free trails and look out for giant butterflies along with strange facts as you explore the garden. There are two to choose from depending on what suits your family, or try them both if you span a range of ages.
The trail will continue after the half term through the summer so you can either choose to be one of the first to have a go or save it for another visit.
Sow a seed
Tuesday 31 May
Drop in between 11.30am - 12.30pm and 1.30 - 2.30pm to first make a paper pot, fill with compost created from Beningbrough's garden waste and sow a sunflower to take home and grow on.

Any day, every day
Head over to the wilderness play area and find your favourites or spend time in the den zone. Clamber on the stack, choose from one of the swings - the pendulum is perfect for older children.
The youngest family members haven't been left out with tunnels, balance beams, new smaller clamber stack and a Wendy house to get their imagination going.
Whether it's swinging from the heights of the wilderness play area or finding new friends in the fish pond See what to expect if you're visiting with family and what's coming up in the next school holidays.
Or plan ahead to summer...
