October half term at Beningbrough
Things might be a little different this year but there are still lots of things to see and do at a time when the gardens are showing off the season's best.
Pre-booking is recommended to guarantee admission, especially on weekends and school holidays. Where space is available on weekdays, pre-booking may not always be necessary.
Keep your eyes peeled for pumpkins
Saturday 24 October - Sunday 1 November 2020 (closed Monday and Tuesday)
As you explore on your visit look out for the pumpkin faces and characters - look high, low and around the corners to see how many pumpkins you can spot; each with their own unique shape and colour. There's nothing to complete and it's just for fun, maybe see if you can make the faces or pretend you're the animal when you find them.
In the stable courtyard you'll find the harvest display of squashes, gourds and pumpkins grown in the walled garden from the tiniest, the wonky shaped, the wierdest colours and the giant ones. Take your turn in having a photo using them as your backdrop. We don't recommend trying to pick them up though!
Seasonal delights in the restaurant
We have a glut of autumn produce growing in the walled garden, so break up your busy day with a warming meal in the restaurant and sweet treat to finish or grab a snack and drink to takeaway.
Good to know
We're currently only taking card payments in the shop, restaurant and brew house
Face coverings are needed in the indoor spaces too - please bring one with you
Remember to book your ticket by 3pm the day before
See what else to expect on your visit...
