Books on display in a second hand bookshop

Every year the proceeds from the sale of secondhand books fund vital conservation projects.

From its location in the cherry orchard, hundreds of books are sold each year with funds raised going towards vital conservation projects such as work on the dahlia walk, restoration of the drawing room and purchasing new varieties of plants for you to enjoy in the garden.

We stock titles that appeal to a vast range of interests, from fiction and crime to gardening and natural history. Many visitors have been delighted to find a book for which they have been searching for several years.

We are always happy to receive donations of books and these can be left at our Reception.
We would like thank everyone who has supported us over years, whether that has been in the donation or purchase of books. It is through this support that we have been able to have an eclectic mix of titles in a lovely atmosphere.
