Bideford Bay and Hartland volunteer work programmes

Volunteer day clearing undergrowth from the piggery at Brownsham

We are always looking for volunteers to help us with our vital conservation work around Bideford Bay and Hartland. If you'd like to try something new, get outdoors, learn new skills and make a lasting difference then volunteering with us could be for you. Take a look at our volunteer work programmes for this year's volunteering diary.

Get involved and make a difference with the National Trust

Did you know that here in North Devon the National Trust cares for over 8000 acres of land, 50 miles of coastline and 101 miles of footpath - including woods, beaches, farmland, meadows, moorland and archaeological remains?

Thanks to the generous support of our visitors, members and volunteers we can continue caring for these diverse landscapes – protecting and preserving them for ever, for everyone. That means every time you visit one of our beautiful beaches, it helps us breathe new life into the countryside.

We are always looking for volunteers to help us with this vital work. So whether you want to get active or get involved, volunteering with the National Trust is an exciting and sociable way to try new things, get outdoors and lend a hand to a great cause. It's also a brilliant way to gain the skills and experience that will continue to benefit you. If you're looking for incredible (and flexible) experiences, we'd love you to get involved.
