Join in at Box Hill

Conservation volunteering at Sandy Mouth, Cornwall

Whatever your skills, time or experience, there are plenty of ways in which you can volunteer here at Box Hill. We are always on the lookout for new members to join our team.

Our volunteer teams

One way of volunteering is by joining the Box Hill volunteer group. This group is open to all ages from 18 to retirement age and beyond. Join this friendly group who enjoy working hard and have a vibrant social calendar too - why not email us to find out more?

Join the servery or shop team

If the outdoors life isn't quite your thing, then we'd love you to volunteer with us in our shop, cafe or servery. Bringing your sense of fun, organisation and good customer care, it could be a match made in heaven.  Email us to join our fun team of servery or shop volunteers.

Care for local countryside

If you have some free time, why not try volunteering at Box Hill? You'll help care for your local countryside, get some exercise in the fresh air, learn new skills, share your own knowledge and meet new friends.

Events and education volunteers

Help us to share beautiful Box Hill with our education visitors and at our events. No prior knowledge is needed, just a willingness to learn and an imaginative mind.

Become a Friend of Box Hill

We're supported in much of our work by The Friends of Box Hill. An independent charity, it works to support the nature conservation and educational work at Box Hill.  Come and join them.

Take part in a team building day

Team building days are a great way to share fun experiences and do something different. Prices start at £55 per person and include lunch and tuition. Email us for more information.
