Our work

The Tudor Coat of Arms painted on the wall at Bradley Manor

Redecorating the Great Hall

The Great Hall was redecorated over the winter of 2019 for the first time in 50 years, so we were able to do some careful conservation of the Coat of Arms.

Walking by the River Dove at Dovedale, Derbyshire

Follow the Countryside Code

With more people than ever enjoying our coast and countryside places, we’re asking for your help in looking after them during your visit. Please help us protect wildlife and landscapes by following the Countryside Code, which includes taking any litter home with you and not lighting a barbecue or campfire.

A meadow brown butterfly at Bradley Manor

Butterflies in the meadows

The meadows surrounding Bradley are the perfect habitat for butterflies, and to make sure that they continue to thrive here, a volunteer is dedicated to monitoring them. Volunteer reporter Fiona spent a day at Bradley finding out about counting butterflies, and why it's so important.

Children's accessories laid out on a table, including a hat, backpack and sunglasses.
