Clarinet Ensemble performance in Priory Church

Sunday 21 October 2-3pm

The Bracknell and Wokingham Community Band (BWCB) clarinet ensemble - also known as the Liquorice Allsorts Clarinet Ensemble, will be performing in the beautiful acoustics of the Priory Church between 2 and 3pm. Normal admission prices apply to the property with no extra charge to see the performance and no need to book. Why not wander in, take a pew and enjoy? (But wear lots of layers - it's chilly in the church!)

An Elizabethan Christmas with Eboracum Baroque

Sunday 25 November 4-5.30pm

Eboracum Baroque return to the wonderful acoustics of Canons Ashby Priory to perform vocal music from the Elizabethan era by composers including William Byrd and Thomas Tallis. There will also be seasonal favourites from across the ages. Mulled wine, teas or coffees available to buy during the interval (cash only). With rustic festive decorations, atmospheric candle light and talented musicians this should be a perfect way to kick start the festive season.

Handbell ringing in the church

1 December 11.30-12noon and 12.30-1pm

Enjoy the festive sounds of the Launton Handbell ringers in the beautiful acoustics of Priory Church. Wrap up warm and take a pew to enjoy their beautiful music. Normal admission prices apply and there's no need to book.

Carols in the Courtyard - sold out!

Friday 7 December 7.30-9.30pm

This event is now sold out - every year it is much in demand and sells out quite early. If you will be interested in 2019 look out for it on the website from the middle of summer for a better chance.

Wrap up warm and join this much loved tradition in Canons Ashby’s Pebbled Court. With glorious singing and music by Consensus Vocalis and the Northampton Music And Performing Arts Trust Brass Group, enjoy the Christmas tree and festive lights illuminating this historic space. Mulled wine and a mince pie included.
