Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is closed. When it is open, we operate a booking system to manage the quality of the visitor experience at this iconic attraction.

This article was created before the coronavirus crisis, and may not reflect the current situation. Please make sure you check web pages for individual places before you travel, to see where is open and where you may need to book, as well as the most up to date information about visiting.

A timed ticketed system has been introduced to ensure we continue to provide a quality visitor experience, reduce waiting times to cross the bridge, comply with necessary conservation requirements and ensure the health and safety of all visitors.

As a conservation charity we are committed to preserving and protecting our special places and spaces for everyone to enjoy. This includes protecting ongoing conservation, managing health and safety and trying to ease traffic congestion around the site.

Visitors are now able to purchase tickets online for an hour time slot to cross the bridge via

Produce your e-ticket reference number at reception to receive your souvenir ticket, for production at the bridge.
