There's plenty going on this February half term from a nature trail around the garden to Wild Tribe on Sunday 16 February.

Helping nature trail

Saturday 15-Sunday 23 February, 11am-4pm

Follow the helping nature trail through the garden and grounds learning about new ways to help look after nature. (Free). 

Wild Tribe

Sunday 16 February, 11am-3pm

Join the Wild Tribe in the activity hut for bushcraft activities for children aged between 5-12. (Drop in event, no booking required, National Trust members free, non-members will need to pay normal admission). Please look at the events listing on the 'What's on' section of the website for the full details.

The castle is currently closed for its winter conservation clean but will reopen on Monday 16 March.

In the visitor centre families can pick up colouring in sheets or have a read of a book from the second hand book shelf.

Other self-led activities over half term include geocaching, orienteering and walking. More details of these can be found at visitor reception.
