Summer at the Barn
There's plenty of different activities to get involved with over the summer, from fun wildlife colouring in sheets to playing outside with the tractors.
Open daily from 9.30am to 5pm
Also at the Barn, outside you'll find lots of tractors and diggers to play with! Not the full-sized, diesel-chugging type; but junior pedal tractors, trailers and frontloads are all available at our barn. There’s room to pedal around both indoors and outdoors so they can be enjoyed whatever the weather.
Pick up your map for our newly opened Secret Shore Nature Trail meandering along the Lough Shore nearby.
Cycling is an important life skill and a healthy way to explore outdoors. At Castle Ward, we've got the perfect training ground for little ones who have not yet found their wheels.
You don’t need to book just visit our Vistor reception to recieve a helmet. Bikes are free to use - just turn up and get going!
When you come out and play at Castle Ward, you're helping us look after nature's playground.
