East Soar Outdoor Experience
East Soar Outdoor Experience is situated on a National Trust farm in South Devon. There are planned events for children, a Walker's Hut offering refreshments and camping bell tents or holiday cottages for those looking for a break.
Helping kids get back to nature
Providing outdoor education for children with additional educational needs, East Soar Outdoor Experience also caters for mainstream groups.
Working closely with National Trust rangers, they ensure schools and families have access to the beautiful surroundings, offering a location for many of the National Trust events in the area.
The farm beside it has pet sheep, donkeys, pigs and chickens and there is a wonderful barefoot trail for children.
The Walker's Hut is a converted farm barn that sells teas, coffees and great homemade cakes. Very popular with dog walkers and families as there is plenty of space with a very relaxed tea-time vibe.
They offer a pre-booked lunch service for walking or rambling groups (minimum of 10 people). Please ring 01548 561904 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to make a booking.
Visitors can park in the National Trust Car park (TQ7 3DR) at the top of the lane and walk down to the farm yard.
