Winter at Sizergh

Enchanted Winter Walk at Quarry Bank 

With festive lighting and illuminated walkways, wander through Quarry Bank's Upper Garden on an Enchanted Winter Walk. Keep an eye out for Mrs Claus preparing the sleigh for Christmas Eve, and little ones, don’t forget to pick up your reindeer food ready for the big day.

Winter walks 

Winter has a beauty of its own, with the landscape transformed by dustings of frost, blankets of snow and the golden glow of low sunlight. Through leafless trees, you’ll see new views and distant horizons. Wildlife is easier to spot in the stillness of a winter woodland and, after a long walk on a chilly day, there’s the promise a cosy hot chocolate and treat in the café.
