Tea Room opening times

The tearoom is open from 10.30am to 4.00pm, from 30 Thursday July and thereafter every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday; (closed Mondays and Tuesdays). As these times are liable to change, please do check our opening times before your visit to avoid disappointment. Please note that the Guildhall itself and the shop will remain closed at the present time.

Scone of the month

Keep an eye out for the return of our scone of the month. Each month our talented kitchen team creates a new scone recipe on sale in the tea room to surprise our regular visitors. In the past, these have included both sweet and savoury versions, so be sure to keep an eye out and perhaps even suggest your own original combinations!

Allergy information

If you have an allergy or intolerance, please let us know. We make most of our food here in our busy kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. Whilst we do our best, we can’t guarantee that any of our products are totally allergen free. For more information please click here.

Doing our bit for the environment

Due to Coronavirus we are using takeaway cups and crockery to ensure the safety of our staff. At the National Trust we use Vegware packaging made from plants for many of our disposables, which means they're fully compostable.
