Wicken Fen Campsite Site Rules

To ensure everyone who stays at Wicken Fen Back to Basics Campsite has a great holiday, we have a few simple site rules.
Arrival Times
After 12 noon. We only accept guests who have pre-booked.
Departure times
Please leave by 12 noon on your day of departure.
Shelters
There are four open fronted shelters. They can sleep a maximum of 6 adults or 8 children and a total group size of 28.
Minimum stay
One night.
Parking
Accessible on foot or by bike from Anglesey Abbey (2 miles) or Wicken Fen (6 miles). There is a drop-off point where you can leave your gear before parking your car at Wicken or Anglesey for the night.
Dogs/pets
Dogs are welcome on site but please notify us at the time of booking. Keep them on a lead at all times and please clean up after your dog, promptly.
Quiet please
To get the most from your wild camping experience, and for the benefit of neighbours, please keep noise to a minimum.
Fires/Barbecues
There is an area in the middle of the camp designated for a campfire, please bring your own firewood.
Safety
Cooking inside shelters is NOT permitted and can be lethal due to carbon monoxide poisoning. No Chinese lanterns please.
Smoking
Please smoke away from the shelters.
Problem or complaint
Every reasonable care will be taken to ensure that the camping shelters and also site amenities are presented to a high standard. Should you find any cause for complaint, please contact Wicken Fen Visitor Centre on 01353 720274. There is an out of hours contact board on-site for emergencies.
All complaints made after the Visitor’s departure should be made in writing by post or email to: wickenwildcamping@nationaltrust.org.uk
