Fell Foot parkrun

If you'd rather keep your feet firmly on the ground but still work up a sweat, we've got plenty happening on dry land.

Join a class or club

Slow down and improve your flexibility with Yin Yang Yoga in the Active Base. It runs every Tuesday evening from 6pm-8.15pm and costs £8 for the first hour (where you are then able to leave if you wish or it’s £12 for the full session.) There’s no need to book, just arrive on the day. Mats are provided but bring your own if you have one, and please wear comfortable clothing which will allow you to stretch and bend.

Little Explorers

This series of guided, nature themed walks around the park is perfect for pre-school tots. They run every Wednesday, from 9.30am-10.30am and are free (parking charges apply to non National Trust members)

Parkrun

Parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world which are open to everyone, whatever your fitness level. It’s held at Fell Foot every Saturday morning at 9am–10am.

Fell Foot bootcamp

This 60-minute high intensity circuit training is for strength and endurance and led by our Fitness Instructor Dan. He’ll be putting you through your paces, so be prepared to sweat! These sessions run every Wednesday (3.30–4.30pm) and Friday (6–7pm). They’ll take place outdoors, unless the weather is terrible, in which case they’ll be in the Active Base, and cost £7 per session.

Family fit

Keep fit with all the family - we'll be combining circuit training with sports and games and making exercise fun. Encourage the kids to ditch their devices whilst getting active within nature, and burn off some calories yourself. Every Saturday at 10.30am, £7.

Circuit training for beginners

This is an ideal class for those wanting to tone up, lose weight and improve stamina, with the added bonus of being out amongst beautiful surroundings. The classes are tailored to the needs of the group on the day, and will be indoors in the Active Base is the weather is wet. Every Wednesday at 9.30am, £7.

Low impact workout class

Get back into fitness with a 45 minute session of moderate exercise with basic workouts around the park (or in the Active Base if the weather is bad). Every Friday at 11.30am, £7.

All prices include entry to the Active Base changing rooms.
