Fell Foot Outdoor Festival

We can’t wait for the Fell Foot Outdoor Festival! This taster weekend is a chance for the whole family to have a go at that sport you always wanted to try. Sat 12 - Sun 13 May, 10am - 4pm

You might choose to try sailing, rowing, canoeing and open water swimming. You never know, you could take to it like a duck to water. If you’d prefer to keep your feet firmly on the ground, there are activities like yoga, Nordic walking and a Parkrun to enjoy.

The festival weekend is also a special chance to get a sneak-preview of Fell Foot’s brand new Active Base, opening this summer. Funded by Sport England, Fell Foot Active Base is the first phase in our masterplan to improve facilities and infrastructure at Fell Foot and introduce visitors to the great outdoors.

The new build will include everything you need to enjoy the lake and the beautiful surrounding park whilst never being too far from a hot shower and a refreshing cup of tea.

An Active Pass, available for individuals, groups and families, will give you access to secure changing rooms with underfloor heating and hot showers, and a beautiful clubhouse with stunning views across Windermere. You can even add boat launching, storage and service to your pass. A full list of the passes available will be on the website soon

If you can’t make it to the festival in May you can have a go at a new sport  at one of our free taster sessions at the Active Base over the summer (a full list is coming soon)..

So…grab your goggles or your yoga mat and discover a new way new way to make the most of Windermere!
