Autumn days with the family

Bridge Cottage, Flatford

Autumn at Flatford

The Dedham Vale always looks lovely in autumn, as the many trees turn bronze and gold and the paths are carpeted in leaves. On sunny days, the walks give stunning views across the valley. Our Tea Room will be open for cosy stops by the river - or if it is warm, you may want to sit and enjoy the Granary Garden. For young explorers, we'll be running an autumn trail over half term, where you can discover how birds and animals prepare for the winter.
