The Kitchen Café at Hatchlands Park

The cafe at Hatchlands Park

You can find our cosy Kitchen Café at the top of the cobbled courtyard close to the house, in spaces originally occupied by the house kitchens. Drop by for hot food, delicious cakes and cream teas made fresh on site each day.

Children’s snack boxes are not available in the Kitchen Café and can now exclusively be found in the Coach House Café.

Dog friendly?

Dogs are not allowed inside the Kitchen Café, however they are very welcome to sit with you outside by the tables provided in the courtyard. You’ll also find water bowls for your four-legged friends outside. If you’d like to sit indoors with your dog then please head to the Coach House Café a little further down the courtyard.

Opening times

Our Kitchen Café is open 363 days a year, 7 days a week, from 10am until 5pm. These extended opening times mean that, whenever you visit us for a walk in the park, our café will always be open to welcome you in and warm you up.

Pack a picnic

Looking to avoid the crowds and queues? Why not bring your own food. There are picnic areas with benches provided all over the parkland so you'll be able to find a seat away from the service tables in the busy courtyrad. Alternatively, you can just throw a rug down on the lawn and enjoy your home-made treats in the spectacular surroundings.

Free Wi-Fi

Although the surroundings are historic, we want to offer you the best of the modern world too. You'll find reliable and easy to use Wi-Fi in our café. Whenever you visit, you’ll be able to get online with your laptop, tablet or smartphone, completely free of charge.
